Guided Walk – A Walk On The Wild Side

4-6-16.jpgJoin an RSPB Warden on Saturday 4th June for a 3 mile walk on the wild side and learn about the reserve’s conservation work for breeding waders and black grouse.

This is a short and informative walk around Tarnhouse Farm, giving walkers the opportunity to find out how the reserve is managed for the benefit of nature.

The walk includes a cup of tea at the visitors centre; walkers are welcome to bring a packed lunch.  Advance booking is essential, please telephone 01697 73111.  there is a small charge of £3 per adult, with RSPB members and children being free of charge.

Commencing at the reserve’s car park at Clesketts, Hallbankgate (grid ref. NY588584) at 10am to noon.

All monies raised will support the work of RSPB Geltsdale.
